Charlton Athletic 0 Forest 2

Another away win - a good start for Billy, but the pressure will be on next saturday can he turn around our poor home form & keep us climbing towards safety & overtaking the sheep? - I certainly hope so.

Nice to see our strikers on the scoresheet again - especially Tyson, I think he's well deserved that new contract & am happy he's still going to be turning out for us for another couple of seasons.

Norwich City 2 Forest 3

A much needed win which see's us escape from the bottom 3 - for the time being anyway.

Amazingly (but somehow apropriate in terms of our season so far) we managed to score all 5 goals, 2 of them were own goals (by Breckin & Garner), the ones that stood for us Thornhill, McGugan, & Earnshaw. Very pleaseing to see the later scoring - if we're going to find the form needed to stay up we're going to need Earnie to be hitting the back of the net with more regularity.

Davis is strongly tipped to be our next manager - but I'm still hoping for Curbishly.

Anyway it's nice to end 2008 (a year of extreme highs & lows for Forest) with a win.

Calderwood Sacked.

Really don't know how I feel about it either.

Thanks for getting us Promoted Colin - maybe if you'd been left to do things your own way we might have been better off. Yes in games bad tactical decisions cost you - but so does not being allowed to sign the players you want or being allowed to pick your own team.

Dear Mr Doughty please now remove the poison that is Mark Arthur from our club & send that muppet Pleat packing as well & most importantly get Curbishley in!
